How do we strictly control the size of FEP tubing ？
Controlling the size of FEP tubing is vital due to strict size tolerances. At Dongguan Suniu Electronics Co.,Ltd, this is done using two main types of instruments: Pin Gauges and the Diameter Laser Measurement Machine.
Pin Gauges are used to measure and inspect the inside diameter of the tubing. The pin gauge designed for the lower limit diameter should fit effortlessly through the tubing's ID, while the upper limit pin gauge should fit loosely.
The Diameter Laser Measurement Machine continuously measures and records the diameter and eccentricity of FEP plastic tubing. The device alarms if the size exceeds the default value. With these methods, Suniu Electronics ensures every piece of Teflon FEP tubing adheres to the specified measurements.
Why do we control black impurities in fep tubing production ?
The black impurites in FEP tubing could be residual particles from the manufacturing process, contamination from handling,or indicators of chemical ractions that have turned the impurites black. It can spell significant consequences for product quality:
1. Physicial Properties Impact
The impurites could alter the tubing's physical properties such as tensile strength, flexibility, and transparency. The stability and robustness of the tubing may be compromised, potentially leading to product failure.
2. Potential for Chemical Reactions
Black impurites could potentially react with the substance passing through the tubing. These reactions might affect the chemical attributes of those substance, leading to unwanted changes.
How do use control black impurities in FEP tubing production ?
Our factory use Online Visual Inspection Systems to automatically find black impurities or defects in FEP tubing production. The system can identify black impurites as small as 0.1mm and inspect each inch of FEP tubing in real-time.
